My name is Lauren, I’m an Illustrator from the UK, currently based in Cambridge studying an MA in Children’s book illustration.
My work is motivated by observing and sketching curious characters in my day-to-day that trigger a story. I develop these ideas in my sketchbook and build story worlds around them to escape into and share with you.
Between illustrating, I enjoy watching the squirrels outside my window, joining them in the park on my runs, and exploring new cities for inspiration.

Interning at independent risopgraph studio in the heart of Amsterdam, Riso Pop. I joined founder, Aafke, to learn about this printing technique amongst other creative freelancers in the city.
World Book Day
For World Book Day 2023, I had the pleasure of teaching a workshop to 60 key-stage 1 children, at a primary school in Lincolnshire, UK.
